Why do critics of Bush persist in insisting he an idiot?
ByA man of limited intellect, poor communication skills, business failure and alcoholic until middle age, Bush was able to land a government job and hold onto it for 8 years before retiring with incredible lifetime benefits. Idiot? I think not.
You must give "W" credit where it is due. He gave every loser in the world the hope that they too could make it if the breaks fell their way. They no longer worry about lacking self-discipline, brains, skills and other old fashioned successs measures. "W" proved anyone could make it in today’s world.

Good question. I agree he is not dumb. I mean he put all his money in oil and whom do we go to war with, but one of the largest producers of oil. When our prices go up so does his wallet. The man is a super genius. Guess what gas is going down he is losing money he probably pulled out which is why we can gas up again for 2.12.

I concur. No matter HOW much you disagree with their political views and tactics, people that can make it that far have more intelligence and stamina than a great majority of us have.

It depends on how you define success. For many corporations Bush was extremely good as a president. For some citizens Bush was not such a good president.

I admire Bush for ignoring the popular opinion and doing what he felt was best regardless. Yes, I admit to being one of the few to think that having a stronghold in the middle east, will some day, save our butts. Bush will eventually be looked at in a different light, mark my words.

People based a lot of their knowledge off of the liberal media whereas they should have had a little bit of faith. Bush is one man & certainly not the only one who makes all decisions in the land of government. You hear so many insults on this man but a rare few thanks to him for keeping us safe the past 7 years.
Clinton had some of the same celebrity status that Obama has now but it only takes one "mistake" (as some may call it) & the mass will beat him over the head too.
