A frequent thing that is used is visual aids. You may get words that begin with those and let the kids identify and write the word down.
Second thing that would help your kids write is to have this thing called “a word a day” wall in their bedroom. Everyday, they will look at the word, study how to spell it and the next days after that, they will be able to speak and write it properly. You need not to go overboard of course. Their need for help with writing must be systematic and not very drastic.
Third of the best options is to use games as a way to teach them. There are a couple of times when children get bored with the “ever so stiff and normal setting of the classroom”. So, they need to have some new and blistering games to help them out. There are resources available online that are going to provide you with games and other similar activities that will surely please children.
Finally, it is going to help if you would track your kids’ progress constantly. It could be through small talks with their teacher or through scanning their notebooks. Most of the time, there are kids who know but are just feeling shy. And this leads them to simply not showing how intelligent they are. By hearing the feedback of their teachers you will be helped out in evaluating how well your kids are fairing at school. Most of the time, the teachers will give you a hint of what type of help with writing is needed. Through that, you may find better ways to make kids learn better.
