How can i improve my English communication skills? Pls Help. Your answers can be an eye-opener to many people.
ByI am a person who is a moderate speaker of English. I want to transform to a person who is expert in English. I dream of doing wonderful presentations, marketing products, persuading people and ofcourse attracting people with my communication skills. I want to be like those Video Jockeys, those politicians, those company managers, those orators who can fiddle with English like anything.. Suggest whatever ways i can improve my speaking skills with.. I expect many classy answers…
I understand that you are lacking skills rather in expressing yourself in front of others than reading or writing in English.
Therefore, search for an offer of "English Cafe" (or something similar) in your neighbourhood, where you can meet and chat with native speakers for a low fee.
Like this you will get used to hearing the language, and, since it's one-on-one, the learning effect will be biggest, as you cannot hide and you will HAVE to speak.
I guess that it is speaking practice you need most, which is something that movies and books – albeit useful to improve your vocabulary – will not be able to convey.
In the end, there surely are presentation classes on offer somewhere, but I cannot tell whether you should start with something like that already or proceed there via some "English Cafe" type of course.

why not go to england to learn some more skills? you pick up languages alot quicker if you're surrounded by it…
or get some more qualifications in english at university etc.
listen to music with english lycris, read english newspapers, listen to english radio stations… it'll also help you pick it up aswell.
befriend some english people over the internet? and talk to them on the phone to get better at english?

read english books, watch english TV specially news and documentary, english movies, plays . MAke english friends over the net and finally dream in english

READ, WRITTE, SPEAK, WATCH, ENTARTAIN, HEAR in english. if your tring to do any of the above in some other language then your learning speed will go down.
you try tape record technique. that will help you lot.

To improve your English you could Read English books and Magazines.
Write Letters, Postcards etc. and keep on practice writing it.
Get a tutor and/or go to night classes.
You could also get a pen pal and talk to them on the phone, by IM or e-mail and by letter writing.

find yourself some friends who are experts in English. and then communicate with them as much as you can.
